What's Next at CRAFT? Exciting Projects on the Horizon!

At CRAFT Thrift Store, we’re always looking for ways to improve, expand, and better serve our mission to support early childhood educators and our local community. As we settle into this new chapter, we’re thrilled to share some exciting projects we’re working on!

1. Building Out Our Crafting and Upcycling Space (Goal February 2025!)

One of our core values is sustainability, and we’re making strides toward creating a dedicated space for crafting and upcycling. This area will allow customers to bring their creativity to life, offering tools, materials, and workshops to inspire repurposing old items into something new and beautiful. Stay tuned for updates as we bring this space to life—we can’t wait to see what our community will create!

2. Teacher of the Month

Recognizing and celebrating early childhood educators is at the heart of CRAFT’s mission. Starting in February 2025, we’ll be selecting a Teacher of the Month! This individual will exemplify dedication, innovation, and care in their work with young children. Along with being highlighted on our website and social media, the chosen teacher will receive a special gift to show our appreciation for their impact. If you know a teacher who deserves to be recognized, let us know! Click here to nominate someone today!

3. Adding More Racks for Clothing and Linens

As our store grows, so does our inventory! To make shopping more convenient and organized for our customers, we’re adding additional racks for clothing and linens. This will help display our ever-changing selection more efficiently and ensure you can find exactly what you’re looking for when you visit.

4. Enhancing Our In-Store TV Monitor

We’re excited to make better use of our in-store TV monitor! Soon, it will feature information about current specials, highlights about CRAFT’s mission, and photos of inspiring upcycled projects. Whether it’s a piece transformed in our upcoming crafting space or an item given new life by a creative customer, we hope this addition will spark ideas and inspiration for everyone who shops with us.

5. Getting New Outdoor Signage

Visibility is key, and we’re thrilled to announce plans for new outdoor signage! The updated signage will make it easier for customers to locate us and reflect the welcoming, creative spirit of CRAFT. We hope this improvement will draw in even more visitors, helping us expand our mission and connect with the community.
